Resistance Box
A Resistance Box is an instrument which contains resistors of different values in a box/case for estimating and comparing the resistance.
- It measures resistance in Ohms (Ω).
- The box is constructed with the pegs in parallel with precision wound resistance coils.
- With the peg in place the current flows through the peg (approx. 0 ohms).
- When removed the current flows through the resistor.
- The main application of the resistance box is to control the specific value of current to flow through the circuit.
