Charging a Body positively by induction

The figure demonstrates the process of charging a body positively by induction. In the figure, there are two objects: a positively charged object and a neutral or uncharged body.

  • To induce a positive charge on the neutral body, the positively charged object is brought close to it without making physical contact. As a result, the positive charges in the neutral body are attracted towards the positively charged object, causing a redistribution of charges.
