Aluminum oxide, zinc bromide, paraffin wax, sodium, hydrogen chloride, silver chloride, Iodine and lead.
From the above list, choose substances.
a) Which conduct electricity.

b) Which do not readily conduct electricity under any conditions.

a)
i. Sodium and lead (being metals)
ii.Aluminium oxide, zinc bromide, silver chloride (ions are firmly held in solid state, ions become free when the solid is molten state.
iii.Zinc bromide, hydrogen chloride (ionize in water.)
b) paraffin wax, iodine (covalent compounds and molecules do not conduct electricity, lack of ions)
