    a) Basicity is the number of replaceable hydrogen atom in a molecule of the acid.

    b) Classifications of compound into monobasic, dibasic or tribasic

    i. HCl → H+ + Cl- monabasic acid
    ii. H2SO4 → 2H + SO42- dibasic acid
    iii. H3PO4 → 3H + PO43- Tribasic acid
